WE?RE LOOKING FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA OFFICER.
We?re looking for a vibrant and ambitious person to be our Social
Media Officer.
The right person will be creative and innovative in helping drive our
social media presence, broadening our online reach and developing
online campaigns that promote active engagement with the Party.
Working closely with the Communications Director, our new Social Media
Officer will help us deliver our message across all digital platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assisting in the implementation of the social media strategy for
the party
* Creating engaging content on a variety of social media platforms
* Driving digital engagement across all platforms
* Designing and editing online content
* Managing and developing content for the Party website
* Supporting Party online campaigns
* General support to the Communications Director
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* A qualification and/or relevant experience in digital
marketing/graphic design area
* Experience of using social media in a campaigning context
* Proven experience with social media content creation
* Experience with graphic design and video editing
* Demonstrated ability to drive engagement on social media
* Ability to tailor the style of content for different audiences and
channels
* Excellent written and communication skills
* Have excellent organisational and attention to detail skills
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* A good knowledge of the Irish national political context and a keen
interest in current affairs
* Passion for and commitment to social democratic politics
* Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment
* Be a good team player, with strong interpersonal and communication
skills
* Have at least 3 years? experience in a role involving digital
media
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
* This is a full-time fixed-term appointment that expires one month
after the next General Election.
* The salary for this role is circa ?**Apply on the website**K,
depending on experience. There will also be a matched pension
contribution of up to 6% of salary.
* Some flexibility will be required in relation to working hours;
